Brad Henderson joined Utah’s Canyons Law Group in 2018, following more than 12 years of honorable service as a JAG officer in the United States Air Force. As part of the Canyons Law Group, Brad plays key roles in the firm’s criminal defense team and estate planning division.
Brad’s training and experience as a military attorney in the Air Force’s JAG Corps provides valuable insights in cases he now handles in the civilian courts. His work included criminal prosecution, advising military and political leaders in overseas deployments, and working closely with individuals to create estate plans for active duty servicemembers, retirees, and their families.
Brad brings a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to his work that is rare among Utah attorneys. He now applies the legal talents he developed as a prosecutor in both federal and military courts to the defense of individuals who are facing criminal charges throughout Utah.
Brad spent his youth in a farming community in California. Following his graduation from college in Utah, he studied law at the William and Mary School of Law, the oldest law school in the United States. He returned to Utah following his service in the Air Force and lives here now with his wife, three children, and a dog.
